The Spice Ship Inn in Weymouth is planning a comprehensive renovation involving new illuminated signs, external lighting, and a revised two-tone grey and beige exterior colour scheme. Submitted by Punch Pub Co to the Dorset Council, the project also includes dropping “Preston” from the signage to emphasise the Weymouth name while complementing the 19th-century building’s heritage.
The applications are available for public comment on the Dorset Council website at P/LBC/2026/04721 and P/ADV/2026/04720.
