Royal Standard closes!

After 13 years running this excellent locals pub, John Lonergan has closed the doors for the last time. The pub – one of the Weymouth areas few remaining “two bar” pubs – closed on 6th January as the building has been sold. Developers are understood to be working out how to change the building so as to get the best out of it. We look forward with interest to see what becomes of this old main road hostelry.
