There is just under a week to go as the Friends of the Elm Tree need to raise approximately £300,000 to save their beloved pub and as well as monies raised at events, the group also has a crowdfunder running which currently stands at £51,973.

Elm Tree – Langton Herring
The Elm Tree Inn closed in November 2023, and The Friends of the Elm Tree aim to bring the pub into Community Ownership for the benefit of the Village of Langton Herring and its visitors.
Their aim is to raise £650,000 through a share offering and donations.

The 17th century country pub, located at the heart of the beautiful coastal village of Langton Herring, is set to close on Sunday 26th November.

Pub changes bar to allow traditional ale service.
We were pleased to hear that the Elm Tree at Langton Herring now has a back bar for their real ales and will only be selling them from the barrel.
