On Wednesday we presented the The King’s Arms, Dorchester with their certificate for winning CAMRA’s Pub Design Awards for Refurbishment.
Presenting the award to Alexis Ross, the manager of The King’s Arms are Dave Harris and Rich Gabe from West Dorset CAMRA.

Today’s Dorset Echo reports that the Draco Pub Company has bought the building and will refurbish it before it re-opens.
The company own three other pubs: Timbrell’s Yard, The White Hart and The Swan.
All are in Somerset and have been refurbished to a high standard.
