Bridport brewery boss Cleeves Palmer has announced that he will be retiring from Palmers after more than 40 years.

As reported in the Dorset Echo the Loders Arms has reopened under new management.
The pub owned by Palmers Brewery is situated in the remote village of Loders and is best approached from the A3066 Bridport to Beaminster road.

Palmers Brewery’s widely renowned dark ale Tally Ho! takes Silver award.
Results were announced on Friday from the CAMRA National Winter Ales Festival in Derby giving this fine local beer it’s well deserved place among the Old Ale Strong Milds group.
Dorchester Beerex – another fantastic festival.
Early indications are that Dorchester Beerex 2016 has raised over £10,500 for local good causes (including the £1534 from the raffle).
