Royal Standard in Upwey has just let us know they will be running a festival from 4th to 7th May. They hope to have up to 26 Ales from eight breweries over the three day festival.

Eagle-eyed members have seen work going on this week at the closed Duke of Cornwall premises in Weymouth. Rumour has it that there are plans to reopen the premises as a pub “specialising in gins”. It would be great to see this ancient building reopen as a pub.

We hear there is no real ale on offer. Lets hope that this doesn’t have an adverse effect on those nearby businesses who do!
