The best venue we’ve had for our October beer festival may be “saved”. Weymouth Council voted yesterday to allow the building to be put out to tender, opening the way for voluntary and not-for-profit organisations to make bids for running it in the future. A report from the Dorset Echo is here. We need to keep a close eye on developments as well as investigate another move of venue in case this is not up and running in time.
